After several stages in Asia, the LPGA Tour returns to American soil for the JTBC Classic. It is the course of the Aviara Golf Club which has hosted the event since 2010, a par 72 of 6609 yards, an event which will offer 1 dollars in prize money. Inbee Park will defend their title this week. She had won the victory last year with five strokes ahead of Amy Olson and Lexi Thompson.

Three French women will take part in this JTBC Classic presented by Barbasol: Perrine Delacour, Agathe Laisné and Pauline Roussin-Bouchard.

Perrine Delacour, thanks to a good start to the season, ranks 29th in the Race to CME Globe. In four tournaments, she signed a top 20 and a top 15, did not miss a cut and is now in 87th place in the world.

Pauline Roussin-Bouchard ranks 37th in the Race to CME Globe with only two tournaments played. The rookie had recorded a top 20 in her first tournament as a member of the LPGA Tour, immediately followed by a top 10 with a ninth place finish at the LPGA DRIVE ON Championship at Crown Colony.

Agathe Laisné will be playing in her second LPGA Tour tournament after narrowly missing the Cut at the LPGA DRIVE ON Championship at Crown Colony.
