For its third tournament of the season, the Ladies European Tour stops in South Africa for the Joburg Ladies Open. 15 French women take part in the event.

After Kenya and Saudi Arabia, the Ladies European Tour is packing its bags in South Africa for two weeks of tournaments with the Joburg Ladies Open then the Investec South African Women's Open.

It is the Modderfontein Golf Club, par 73 of 6630 yards which is the host of this first test. This three-round tournament offers a total prize pool of 250 euros.

15 tricolors will start this week: Anne-Charlotte Mora, Charlotte Liautier, Emie Peronnin, Manon Gidali, Alexandra Bonetti, Marion Duvernay, Camille Chevalier, Julie Berton, Julie Maisongrosse, Anne-Lise Caudal, Céline Herbin, Anais Meyssonnier, Emma Grechi , Agathe Sauzon and Lucie Malchirand.

Georgia Hall and Esther Henseleit are currently leading the Race to Costa Del Sol thanks to their respective victory at the Aramco Saudi Ladies International Presented By Public Investment Fund and the Magical Kenya Ladies Open.

Emma Grechi is the first Frenchwoman in the order of merit of the Ladies European Tour with a 12th place: she had signed a top 5 for the first tournament of the year in Kenya. The second Frenchwoman ranks 31st in the Race in the person of Charlotte Liautier. The rookie had signed a top 20 in Kenya followed by a 50th place in Saudi Arabia.
