The Korda sisters will join Lexi Thompson and Danielle Kang at the Summer Games August 4-7 at Kasumigaseki Country Club. Lexi is the only player to participate in the Rio 2016 Games.

The Korda sisters will follow in the footsteps of their mother Regina, who represented then Czechoslovakia at the 1988 Summer Games in Seoul.

" It's cool ", said Jessica. “I am obviously very sad and a little disappointed that our families are not there and that we cannot go to other sports. I don't know what kind of Olympic experience it will be, but it's not something I've always dreamed of, to be an Olympian, because I never thought our sport would be here one day. But it's really cool. My mother played, my father never played. It's something pretty cool ”.

Nelly triumphed by winning her first major championship at the Atlanta Athletic Club is the new world number 1.

"I mean, it's an incredible opportunity to represent our country", she said. “For now, I'm just going to enjoy some free time maybe, and you'll see us at Dow (Great Lakes Bay Invitational) representing Team Jelly together. "
