Jersey's excellent reputation for its cuisine gave the idea to the four starred restaurants on the island to join forces to offer the “Jersey Michelin Star Experience”, a package that combines charming accommodation and gastronomy. A unique opportunity to test the seven golf courses of this Anglo-Norman land.

A lobster freshly caught in the bay, beautiful thick and creamy fresh cream, sea bass and sole of the day, pork and beef raised on site, accompanied by famous early potatoes ... No, you are not dreaming, you you are in the United Kingdom or more precisely in Jersey, on one of the islands of the Channel Islands, just a few kilometers from the French coast.

Originally only available over three nights, the “Jersey Michelin Star Experience” is a package now offered for a full week, in order to fully enjoy the assets of the Channel Island, both culinary and tourist.

The principle is simple. You just have to choose your accommodation among the three hotels of the Luxury Jersey Hotel, The Atlantic Hotel, located in the southwest of the island, The Club Hotel & Spa or the Grand Jersey, both located in the capital St Helier. The package includes 3 nights of accommodation in a double room with sea view or in a studio. It also includes breakfast, access to the spa of the chosen hotel and three gourmet dinners in the Michelin-starred restaurants in Jersey: The Ocean at the Atlantic Hotel, Bohemia at the Club Hotel & Spa, Tassili in the Grand Jersey. If you choose the 7-night package, you can also experience Ormer, Chef Shaun Rankin's new restaurant, which has just been awarded a star in the 2014 Michelin Guide, just four months after it opened.

The price of the package is, depending on the dates, from £ 375 per person (€ 455) for 3 nights and 3 dinners or £ 725 (€ 880) for 7 nights and 4 dinners. It can be booked directly with each hotel.

The four starred chefs of Jersey, whose specificity is to highlight the fresh products of the island, are Steve Smith, Chef of the Bohemia since February 2013, Mark Jordan at the Ocean restaurant and holder of a star for the 8th consecutive year , Richard Allen, star at Tassili since 2011, and the last to join this brilliant list of awards, Shaun Rankin for Ormer. With many other restaurants holding AA Rosettes, Jersey confirms its status as the leading gastronomic destination in the British Isles. The Norman and Breton neighbors have only to be careful!

From May 23 to 26, meet at the Jersey Food Festival

The Jersey Food Festival is a celebration of local specialties such as the iconic “Jersey Royal” potato, abundant seafood and dairy products for which the island is very famous. During these four days, visitors will have the opportunity to visit certain farms, the dairy, local producers and take beautiful guided walks on the theme of Jersey terroir.

Golf in Jersey: you are spoiled for choice!

Golf enthusiasts can choose from the island's seven courses, many of which offer great views. La Moye, Royal Jersey and Les Mielles Golf & Country Club are 18 hole championship courses. The first two require proof of your handicap, but if you are not a member of a club, you can play at Les Mielles or on one of the other four courses: Jersey Recreation Grounds, Les Ormes Golf & Leisure Club, Longueville Golf Range and Wheatlands Golf Club.
