This automotive event brings together more than 800 sports cars among the most beautiful of yesterday and today. The 2015 edition was marked by the presence of 25 spectators, who in particular made it possible to help the oncology center of the Poitiers University Hospital for cancer research to the tune of € 000. To date, the funds raised during previous editions of Sport & Collection amount to 250 euros. This amount makes it possible to finance innovative equipment, research programs in hematology, and the increase in the number of research associates.

Jaguar's presence at Sport et Collection is part of its “Art of Performance” test tour which takes place across Europe. On this occasion, the public will be offered circuit baptisms aboard the F-TYPE and road tests of its latest models, including the new F-PACE, the brand's first SUV, and recent XF and XE. Jaguar France will also celebrate at the Circuit du Val de Vienne the sixtieth anniversary of the Type D's victory at the 12 hours of Reims, driven by Duncan Hamilton and Ivor Bueb. The arrival of this exceptional car made it possible to make a stop on the national road lined with the pits of the old test of Reims-Gueux. It is this copy registered 393RW which won the 12 hours of Reims in 1956 and which was photographed on the ground of its past exploits. It is accompanied for the occasion by the 41st Type E produced as well as the line of the most recent models of the brand such as F-PACE, XF and F-TYPE.

These two models will be presented by Jaguar Classic to the Sport and Collection public in the paddocks and evolve on the track, contributing to the spectacle offered by this event and thus supporting its noble cause. Marc Luini, Executive Director of Jaguar France said: “We are delighted to be a partner of this charity event for the third year in a row and to help Sport & Collection achieve its goal of passing the 3,5 million mark. euros in cumulative donations. It is also for Jaguar France to present the latest models of the brand including the latest SUV F-PACE, our iconic sports car F-TYPE alongside its glorious elders who are the Type D and Type E ”.
