Over a million different remixes are possible, thanks to the combination of tempos and musical genres, which range from hip-hop to great orchestrations, including pop or jazz.

Music fans and celebrities came from all over Europe, including Mission Impossible actress Alix Bénézech. They too had the opportunity to get behind the wheel of the Jaguat I-PACE and create their own versions.

To compose his own remix of “Want To”, Dua Lipa drove the Jaguar I-PACE. His driving style was recorded by the car's smart sensors. The amount of electrical energy consumed, the way Dua Lipa accelerated and braked were analyzed and transformed into data which was used to modify the title: tempo, arrangements and general atmosphere of the song.

“I'm excited about this collaboration with Jaguar because I can push the boundaries of music and technology for my fans. It's pretty impressive that anyone can create their own original version of my single "Want To" just based on how that person drives a Jaguar, or what they listen to as music. "

The remix isn't just for drivers. All music fans around the world will also be able to create their own versions of Dua Lipa's track using Jaguar's remix software available at http://remix.jointhepace.com. This innovative application allows users to remix Dua Lipa track using the list of the last tracks they listened to streaming on Spotify. Then, the software deduces the style of music generally listened to and reorganizes the tracks of the title to create a personalized version. The software uses the average tempo of playlists, their style and the energy of the music you listen to most often, to come up with a completely personalized remix. It is also possible, without having a Spotify account, to create a remix in the application by tapping on your smartphone to "set the tone" for a new version of the title.

Each remix created through the web application will be accompanied by a personalized album cover photo bearing the title “Dua Lipa x Jaguar”. All remixes can then be shared on the user's social networks.

This collaboration between music and technology is the illustration of Jaguar's desire to create a more connected experience between the driver and his car. Jaguar's in-car technology analyzes driving style and driver preferences. Depending on this, it optimizes the settings to provide the best driving experience.

“Thousands of smart sensors are installed on all Jaguar F-PACE, E-PACE and I-PACE. They adapt to the driver's wishes, his driving style and the environment encountered to make each journey a special experience that awakens the senses. The collection of information inside and outside the car throughout the duration of a journey makes it possible to personalize the car according to each driver. In the future, we may find this kind of music technology built into all Jaguars, which will allow the music playing in the car to change, evolve and adapt to you. This means working even more with artists to create tracks that can respond to the way you drive. "

All Jaguar F-PACE, E-PACE and I-PACE are equipped with thousands of intelligent sensors that collect information aimed at improving the driving experience. Everything is recorded, from the driving style to the chosen settings. In this case, six different types of data are collected on each ride by Jaguar's InControl infotainment system. It also includes information on braking and acceleration, the energy captured by the braking regeneration system, electrical energy consumption or the average vehicle speed and direction. This information is sent by the car to the cloud thanks to its integrated 4G wifi terminal. The title "Dua Lipa x Jaguar" will use this information, work it with sophisticated software to come up with a personalized remix. The web application also has an option for Spotify users, who can remix the song using data from their streaming download history: the style most often listened to, the average tempo of these songs and other information are used to rearrange the title of Dua Lipa and make it a remix to the image of each user. Those who don't have a Spotify account can create a remix by tapping on their smartphone screen to set a beat. The software will generate a version of the song that matches the speed and rhythm created on the phone screen.

To allow everyone to remix the Dua Lipa x Jaguar track, a specialist production team broke down the Dua Lipa mockup, keeping the gist of the track and reducing it to its constituent parts. She looked for how the song could be rearranged by touching its mood and style, changing the orchestration or the tempo. Over 3.500 groups of audio tracks have been created through this process and form the building blocks for every remix. These tracks are integrated into a very sophisticated software, which reworks them according to the information collected in the car, listening in streaming on Spotify, or according to the rhythm typed on the smartphone.

“The six types of information collected during each journey in a Jaguar I-PACE are used to process the final mix. The particular imprint of each conductor during his journey will modulate the style, the tempo, the intensity and the complexity of the remix - the software will choose according to this melodies, sounds and a rhythm in a palette of instruments . The song thus really matches the rhythm and style of driving. "

“It works like a combination lock: there are five sections of each track, which will look like five wheels on a lock. The information gathered from the different elements analyzed during the driver's journey will influence the style and atmosphere in different ways. This results in the wheels spinning, which selects a different combination. The software perfectly reassembles the various elements so that the song functions as a cohesive remix. Each wheel has hundreds of different audio groups, resulting in millions of potential versions of the song. "
