The Saint-Cloud player won with a final score of 217 (+4) at the end of the last round with three strokes ahead of her pursuers, Manon Gidali and Lucie André and four strokes on Gwladys Nocera.

“It was indeed a great challenge throughout these three days,” comments Valentine Derrey. It was complicated every day. Especially today. In any case, this victory bodes well for the rest of the season which resumes next week in Morocco after more than a month and a half of interruption. 2015 was not a great year for me (28th in the Order of Merit, only two Top 20s in sixteen tournaments played). So I decided in 2016 to start from scratch. I took over the fundamentals, grip, alignment, posture… ”

Asia, which is avant-garde in this area, is also another example to follow, on the other hand, women's golf is a queen discipline where players are raised to the rank of icons.
