The Jabra Ladies Open initially scheduled for May 7-9 at the Evian Resort Golf Club has been postponed for six weeks. The first Ladies European Tour event on French soil, qualifying for The Evian Championship, will take place from June 18 to 20.

After the announcement of the postponement of The Evian Championship, replaced from August 6 to 9, it is the turn of the Jabra Ladies Open to shake up its calendar, replacing the tournament from June 18 to 20, six weeks after the date initially planned by the LET. Qualifying event for the Evian Championship, it offers the first two in the ranking a place to compete in the prestigious tournament which takes place on the course of the Evian Resort Golf Club in Haute-Savoie. "In this period of global health crisis linked to Covid-19, we are thinking above all of ensuring the safety and health of everyone, both players and those involved in the preparation and organization of the tournament", the organizers said in a press release issued on Monday.

The first edition organized in 2016 of the Jabra Ladies Open, was won by Valentine Derrey. Sanctioned by the LET Access Series in 2017, Isabelle Boineau offers another French victory. Double badge with the LET for the past two years, it is always a Frenchwoman who wins with Astrid Vayson de Pradenne in 2018 and it is the Englishwoman Annabel Dimmock in 2019 who puts an end to this beautiful French series. The 2020 event will be contested over three rounds, bringing together 132 players and will involve a prize of 200 euros.
