Jabra Ladies Open: the three things to watch out for

Former champions from Evian

The first edition of the Jabra Ladies Open took place in 2017 when the tournament joined the LET Access Series, while the next two editions were double ranked events on LETAS and LET. The three former champions - the French Isabelle Boineau and Astrid Vayson de Pradenne and the Englishwoman Annabel Dimmock - are all present in the scope of this year's event.

Entering the tournament, Boineau, who finished 45th in the Race to Costa del Sol in 2020, produced a strong T29 performance in Italy. Dimmock started his season last week at Golf Club Margara and crossed the cut over the weekend finishing T50. Pradenne's Vayson also had a strong start to the 2021 season with a T56 in South Africa and she followed with a T21 in Italy.

Malchirand is optimistic after victory at Ladies Italian Open

A player entering the Jabra Ladies Open in great shape is last week's winner and local star Lucie Malchirand. The 18-year-old will be competing in her third LET event and has an excellent track record with a T26 at the Lacoste Ladies Open de France last year and her victory by one stroke in Italy.

The French amateur, who was part of the European team in the PING Junior Solheim Cup 2019, will be full of confidence before approaching the tournament at home. Malchirand had already achieved illustrious player status by winning a LET tournament while still an amateur and she is hoping to achieve another excellent performance.

Many stars hope for the success of the Jabra Ladies Open

The Jabra Ladies Open is a hotly contested tournament, with many LET tournament winners hoping to replicate their success in Evian. 2016 LET Order of Merit winner Beth Allen leads the pack, alongside 2020 tournament winners Amy Boulden, Alice Hewson and last season's LET Rookie of the Year, Stephanie Kyriacou .
