The Jabra Ladies Open, the new flagship event of LETAS, also qualifying for the Evian Championship, has delivered its verdict. The French Isabelle Boineau (-7) wins the tournament after a play-off hole against the Swedish Johanna Gustavsson. The two players pocket their tickets for the Evian Championship and join the very selective field of 5e and last Major of the season which will take place from September 14th to 17th at the Evian Resort Golf Club.

The French Isabelle Boineau (-7) wins the tournament after a play-off hole against the Swedish Johanna Gustavsson. The two players pocketed their ticket for the Evian Championship and entered the very selective field of the 5e and last Major of the season which will take place from September 14th to 17th at the Evian Resort Golf Club.

Under a blazing sun that will never have left the competition, and after 3 intense laps which will have seen 120 players representing 28 nations compete on the Evian greens, Isabelle Boineau (28 years old) has managed to fare well. Author a very good first round (67) and a solid second round (69), the Frenchwoman was able to ensure during this final day by returning a card of 70 which opened the doors of the play-off against Johanna Gustavsson . The young Swedish, author of a superb 66 today and an eagle noticed at 15, could not respond to Boineau's birdie during the first play-off hole.

In 2016, her victory at the Ladies Scottish Open had allowed her to access the very closed field of the Major where she hung a 48e square. This first experience, coupled with his victory at the Jabra Ladies Open, should allow him to consider his next Evian Championship even more calmly (September 14-17, 2017).
