Honda LPGA Thailand: Ariya Jutanugarn wins, Céline Boutier T20
Thailand's Ariya Jutanugarn won at home with a whopping 69 (-9) -21 overall. Céline Boutier, author of a superb 66 (-6) posted her best card of the week in this last lap of the Honda LPGA Thailand. This is the second top 20 in two weeks for the Frenchwoman, who finished 17th at -13 overall. .
Céline Boutier excelled in this last round to climb 17th in the final standings (her second T20 in 10 days) with a magnificent card of 66 (-6), three birdies against a bogey on her first nine holes, passing the first leg in -2. It was on the return that she played fire, making five new birdies including three consecutive from 10 to 12 for a single small bogey at 16. The French number 1 who finished with the total -13 way, could hardly conclude in a more beautiful way.
the Thai Ariya Jutanugarn, 9th at the start of the last lap, surpassed herself, going up all the competition to seize the trophy with a step ahead of her compatriot Atthaya Thitikul. The former world number 1 signed a spectacular 63 (-9). She thus won her 11th title on the LPGA Tour.
