The sixth edition of the Golf Trophies will take place on March 30 to open National Golf Week. Grégory Havret, professional with 3 European victories and more than 500 tournaments, will be the President of the jury.

2022 golf trophies posterAfter the postponement and then the suspension of the ceremony scheduled for two consecutive years, due to the health crisis, the 6th edition of the Golf Trophies will finally take place on Wednesday March 30, 2022, at the Golf National. After four editions, the evening is still evolving, becoming the opening ceremony of National Golf Week, a new large-scale event launched by the French Golf Federation under the leadership of its President Pascal Grizot.

Faithful to their founding principle, the Golf Trophies will bring together 300 personalities from the world of the little white ball to celebrate the greatest successes of French golf. The evening will take place in the SQY Lounge, a National Golf Week hospitality space reserved for event partners, the media and golfers involved in the various official competitions.

Sponsored by the FFGolf and PGA France, the ceremony will reward sporting performances and the best initiatives, as well as personalities and entities who have distinguished themselves during the past year.

This year, the event will once again benefit from exceptional exposure thanks to the live broadcast on Golf +, the main partner of the Golf Trophies. The event has also been supported since its inception by numerous media which make it possible to share the event and highlight its winners to golf fans and a large public.

AN EXCEPTIONAL PRESIDENT

After Jean Van de Velde in 2015, Thomas Levet in 2016, Armel Le Cléac'h in 2017, Gwladys Nocera in 2018 and Julien Benneteau in 2020-2021, it is again an exceptional sponsor who has accepted to chair the jury composed of 20 members: Grégory Havret, professional European Tour player. After a title of European Amateur Champion in 1999, Grégory entered the European Tour in 2000 and participated in more than 500 tournaments. He won 3 titles (Italian Open 2001, Scottish Open 2007 and Johnny Walker Championship 2008) and finished second in the US Open 2010.

Since their creation, the Golf Trophies have awarded a total of fifty trophies rewarding sporting results, outstanding personalities, business successes, clubs, all those who promote French golf.
To make the best decisions, choose the most deserving nominees and winners, the event brought together a committee of experts in all areas of the trophies. Each year, the jury constitutes a very complete panel of different representatives of French golf. The 2021 vintage promises rich and lively debates!

Three new members join the jury for this sixth edition of the Golf Trophies:
Joanna Klatten, as a golf professional with a rich career in Europe and the United States
Vincent Paris, as vice-president of ADGF, Association of Directors of Golfs of France
François Sciméca, as editor-in-chief of Golf Planète.

As every year, fans will be consulted to elect the Golfer of the Year as well as the Coup of the Year during the month of March.
