Directly inspired by typography and historical documents from the archives of Gleneagles, the centennial logo honors the rich heritage and preservation of the two courses designed by James Braid. Extensive restoration work was carried out on the two 18 holes according to the original photographs and drawings, so that they regain their original luster. Scottish heather has been reintroduced around the fairways to better frame the playing areas, the bunkers have been redesigned and the fairways widened in the style of the time.

The King's Course was the scene in 1921 of the first informal Ryder Cup match between Great Britain and the United States, with James Braid then part of the British squad. The Queen's Course is one of the most beautiful par 68 in the United Kingdom. “2019 is a special year for Gleneagles in many ways,” says Gary Silcock, director. We are an important place of pilgrimage for golfers around the world and our two courses have always contributed to the growth of golf in Scotland. ”

Gleneagles has won many important accolades, recognizing the transformations carried out on the 344 hectare estate since hosting the Ryder Cup in 2014:
