Garmin is innovating today with the Approach X10, a GPS bracelet dedicated to the practice of golf which gives access to a database of more than 41 courses around the world. The Approach X000 measures exact distances to the entrance, middle and back of the green, but also to layups, doglegs and bunker-type obstacles and bodies of water.

A smart bracelet

On the course, the bracelet acts as a digital scorecard for recording individual statistics such as the number of fairways, greens hit and the number of putts per game. The Approach X10 bracelet also has the Green View function, which displays the shape of the green at each hole and allows the golfer to manually place the position of the flag for more precision (entry, middle and back of the green).

Users will be able to download data and statistics via their computer and Garmin Express software then view them from the app Garmin Connect Mobile or since new Garmin Golf app. They will be able to compete against each other, whatever the route. This free application offers new features such as the ranking of players, their live score, their handicap but also the possibility of creating tournaments and inviting friends to participate.

Discreet design and record autonomy

Lightweight (31g), slim and comfortable, the Approach X10 was designed for the active golfer. Equipped with a 2,5cm touchscreen, the waterproof bracelet can be worn during a rainy round of golf. The bracelet has a battery that can last up to 12 hours in GPS mode.
