Launched in 2009 and part of the Rolex Series since 2017, the DP World Tour Championship comes to close the European Tour season, of which Rolex has been a partner since 1997. During this 20-year partnership, Rolex has naturally established itself as a major partner of golf in Europe and the introduction of the Rolex Series offers players the opportunity to participate in a new category of premium tournament on the international European Tour calendar.

Played on the famous Earth Course at Jumeirah Golf Estates, the DP World Tour Championship is a very tough tournament, particularly difficult, worthy of a season finale. Earth Course's white bunkers and deep green fairways are inspired by the best courses in Europe, providing the perfect setting to crown the best golfer of the season.

Reigning Rolex Champion Ambassador Matthew Fitzpatrick said: “I can't wait to return to Dubai to defend my title. This year, Rolex is celebrating its 50th anniversary present more than ever as one of the main sponsors of world golf and it is a privilege for me to be part of the Rolex family and to be one of the ambassadors of the brand. The Rolex Series underscores Rolex's continued commitment to golf and has been an outstanding asset for the season, allowing European Tour players and fans to enjoy a high standard of golf, closer to home.
