From last week, following the speech by the Prime Minister, the French Golf Federation, in close collaboration with our Ministry of Sports and the Cabinet of the Minister, as well as with the Sport Advisors of the Élysée and Matignon, continued to work on updating the health protocol to guide the organization of golfing activities. 

This protocol was validated upon the promulgation of decree 2020-663 of May 31, 2020 prescribing the general measures necessary to deal with the epidemic of covid-19 within the framework of the state of health emergency. At the same time, the ffgolf continued its discussions with the Public Authorities in order to clarify with precision the conditions under which the sports activities of clubs could resume, with regard to the specificities of our discipline.

The ffgolf is happy to confirm to you today that, with the greatest respect for the health protocol, the organization by clubs and / or organizers of certain sports events is now possible. These are specifically club competitions reserved for members / subscribers or open, individual or team friendly meetings, pro-friends and business days. 

In this exceptional health context, the ffgolf reminds all licensed players that the up-to-date medical certificate / health questionnaire is compulsory to participate in sports activities. The possession of the license and these titles or attestations allow the clubs and organizers to identify the players and to offer the guarantee of a practice of golf, in conformity with the commitments made by the federation vis-à-vis the Ministry of Sports. 

The Federation also specifies that the entire federal national, regional or departmental calendar, as well as the calendar of professional tests remain suspended until further notice.
