Organizing the Olympic and Paralympic Games in France presupposes, of course, the aim of high performance. But Paris 2024 will be everyone's Games, everywhere in France. If we want to organize popular games, and if we want to make France a great sports nation, we must train all French people in this great dynamic.

To celebrate the date of the official award of the Games in Paris in 2024, a major Sports Festival will be organized every September 13, starting next year. An annual meeting which will bring together all French people around the values ​​of sport and which will raise awareness in particular of the most distant public from the practice of sport around the benefits of sport.

The Sports Festival will be an inclusive, sharing moment, a celebration where republican values ​​associate all compatriots without discrimination of origin, gender, religion.

Work is already being carried out with the sports movement, of course, but also local communities and actors in the field, to propose a Popular Sport Festival, an expected meeting.

To give it a European influence, the minister will present this project at her European Council on November 20 in Brussels to her counterparts.
