“Women at the Summit” week

Many disciplines still close their doors to women today. If trends change and evolve, it is important to fight for women's sport to be considered and recognized for its true value. It is essential to provide the means for women's sport to develop and to promote female practice.

It is precisely for this purpose, to celebrate women and their sporting performances that the Contamines-Montjoie is organizing this year and for the very first time the “Women at the Summit” week. The idea of ​​these meetings is to facilitate exchanges on the place of women in sport, in mountain environments and more generally in the heart of society.

For a week, a rich program of sports and well-being activities will punctuate the participants' days. The evenings will be the scene of conferences and round tables where brand ambassadors will take the floor to discuss and debate with women.

The Alice Milliat foundation

The “Women at the Summit” week is a project accredited by the Alice Milliat Foundation, the first European foundation in favor of women's sport. Sheltered by the Fondation du Sport Français Henri Sérandour, it is recognized as being of public utility.

Three films which will make you set off to meet the snowy slopes of the Greek, Icelandic and Japanese mountains, following in the footsteps of women who are passionate about mountains and skiing.

Discover and discuss the daily life of exceptional women through their professional or sports career. Olympic medalists Perrine Pelen and Coline Mattel will be present, alongside other personalities (Sylviane Noël, Anne-Chantal Pigelet, etc.)

Screening of the film "A land shaped by women"

Directed by and in the presence of Anne-Flore Marxer, snowboard world champion.

The film illustrates the initiatory journey of two freeride snowboard world champions through Iceland. Anne-Flore Marxer and Aline Bock explore the island state by van, in the middle of winter, to practice the outdoor sports they cherish in marvelous landscapes, split boarding under the northern lights and surfing in cold waters. . The film illustrates the project of discovering and immersing yourself in the mentality of Icelandic women, while immersing yourself in a new kind of adventure.
