The Femina Cup was contested on August 18 at Les Arcs golf course. This event intended to promote women's golf (and in the mountains) is organized in August by a small group of players. It thus makes it possible to bring together women around a common passion.

This third edition 2019 attracted 36 players, who came to compete in a string race offering precision and drive competitions, as well as a “beat the pro” on a Par 3.

The gentlemen accompanied the parties as caddies thus ensuring the conviviality and the good mood of this day, placed under the sign of relaxation.

Competition in stroke play and without strokes, it is the twine that allows you to catch bad moves and make birdies. 40 cm of string per stroke, which each golfer uses when she wishes, outside water obstacles and out of bounds.

The best win the competition with a score of +2.

The Femina Cup is also a brunch offered on arrival, the delivery of a picnic and a tea time when the prizes are awarded, as well as various attentions that have excited the players. Some are already talking about the next edition and are planning their stay at Les Arcs so as not to miss this competition.

There are many sponsors for this richly endowed competition:

French Ski School, Club Med, Arpin spinning, Deep Nature Spa, Nama Springs Spa, ADS, Casa Areias residence, Art et la Fugue jewelry, Taj-I-Mah hotel, Evian golf courses, Giez, Aix les Bains, Tignes , Valescure, Golfy Network, Alpa Mamma.

The Femina Cup is a date that marks the golf calendar of Les Arcs in the same way as the Skier's Cup, the 50 years Cup, the Gardeners Cup or the CoolChic.

The Les Arcs golf course, known as the Chantel golf course, located 1 meters above sea level, at the gates of the Vanoise Park, offers an exceptional view of the Tarentaise peaks and Mont Blanc. Despite the obvious slopes, the course which is a Par 800, offers 70 high quality rolling greens and well designed fairways allowing for beautiful golf shots.

The Chantel course is much more than a mountain golf course. It is a quality golf course, born in 1974 and reworked in 1990 by Robert Berthet, which delights both beginners and seasoned players.
Open from June to September with a Club House, a driving range with 10 indoor and 30 outdoor stations, 2 putting greens and an approach area, golf is also accessible in spring and autumn, if the conditions are good.

Member of the Golfy network, golf des Arcs offers and organizes many competitions during the summer, thanks to partners and sponsors invested in golf. Nine carts are available for rental so that less sporty golfers can fully appreciate the course.

And to encourage golf among the youngest, a golf school was created this year, with more than 35 children enrolled from 4 to 15 years old.
