The works presented, all in inflatable plastic or fabric, are designed by international artists who felt the need for space to express themselves.

These works reach colossal dimensions (up to 10 m in height and 8 m in diameter), when it was enough for them to be transported in a suitcase to reach the Villette!

The "Inflatable" appears as a recurring medium in the current art scene and a passage in the career of an artist, a kind of confrontation necessary for the material at a given time.

Niki de Saint Phalle had signed some surprising Nanas in PVC, Christo found the ideal material to enter the Guinness Book of records by designing the largest sculpture ever created, Anish Kapoor made his project for the Monumenta 2011, Paul McCarthy made it one of his favorite media of the 2000s for sculptures with unusual shapes.
