From Thursday July 21 to Sunday July 24, The Amundi Evian Championship, the only women's Grand Slam golf tournament in Continental Europe, returns to the fairways of the Evian Resort Golf Club. The set will bring together the best players in the world and the organizing committee has just announced the six invitations granted to young champions with promising talent, five amateurs and one professional. An incredible opportunity for these players to join a tournament whose selection criteria are increasingly demanding.

Like the world top 10, whose average age is close to 25, led by Korean Jin Young Ko, Australian Minjee Lee, defending champion, and American Nelly Korda, the field displays a youthful talented and efficient and a wealth of historical nationalities (30 nations in the 2022 edition of the major).

A fine echo of the policy undertaken by the tournament management to promote the emergence of the champions of tomorrow, which is reflected in particular in the choice of its invitations.

The wildcards were therefore awarded to six players, five amateurs and one professional, with remarkable performances, displaying an average age of 20 years.

Players who, for some, return to Evian where they have already been able to evolve within the competitions of the ecosystem dedicated to the best young people in the world of The Amundi Evian Championship galaxy.
