Annika Sörenstam and the Evian Championship have just announced this Monday that the winner of the ANNIKA Award Presented by 3M will receive an exemption to enter the field of the 2016 edition of the Major.

The ANNIKA Award Presented by 3M honors the best university player of the year, selected by a group of university golfers, coaches and members of the golf media. The name of the winner of the ANNIKA Award Presented by 3M will be officially announced on June 7.

Alison Lee (USA), former UCLA champion, won the first trophy in 2014, followed in 2015 by Duke player Leona Maguire (IRL).
