The Ladies European Tour season is on! After the first round of this Magical Kenya Ladies Open, we find a Frenchwoman at the forefront: Emma Grechi. With a card of 70 (-2), she ranks second two strokes behind the leader, the Swedish Linnea Strom.

The Ladies European Tour is making its big comeback this week in Kenya on the Vipingo Ridge course. Eleven French women are involved in this event and some of our tricolors have distinguished themselves from the first round.

Emma Grechi begins her tournament with a card of 70 (-2), five birdies for three bogeys. She ranks second, two strokes behind the leader. It is the Swedish Linnea Strom who takes the lead in the event with a card of 68 (-4). She signs eight birdies, two bogeys and an unfortunate double bogey on hole 16.

Anne-Charlotte Mora grabs the top 5 on this first day with a card in Par: six bogeys for six birdies.

Agathe Sauzon ranks 15th at +2 with a card of 74. She scores two birdies for four bogeys.

Our blue scores:

  • Julie Maisongrosse returns a card of 76 (+4). She is 40th
  • Lucie Malchirand plays one more shot, 77 (+5). She ranks 48th.
  • Camille Chevalier, Manon Gidali and Charlotte Liautier return a score of +6. They occupy the 59th position.
  • Anne-Lise Caudal ranks 70th with a card of 79 (+7).
  • Anais Meysonnier is in 82nd place with a card of 81 (+9).
  • Marion Duvernay ranks 92nd with a card of 87 (+15).
