Never had the Golf National drawn so much light as in recent weeks. Theater of the Ryder Cup 2018 then the Olympic Games in 2024, the jewel of the French Golf Federation is at the center of all attention. At the start of the year, an event book pays tribute to the beauty of its courses: “Parcours de Lumières” and its 134 pages of photos, each more beautiful than the next.

A book born from the meeting of Claude Rodriguez, golf photographer, and Jacques Setbon, editor (S & Co) passionate about art and golf. Official photographer of the stars - including Brigitte Bardot - Claude Rodriguez has been photographing golf courses around the world for over 30 years: " Through each of the pages of this event book, I want to help enthusiasts discover the mornings of the National Golf. It is a magical space whose colors, lights and shadows have always charmed me. "

The book "Course of Lights" thus offers an artistic vision of the Albatross, a course "difficult but fair" as Nick Faldo, one of the greatest golfers in the world, likes to present it.

"With this remarkable book, Claude Rodriguez arouses emotions that we did not even suspect by rediscovering our journey from a new perspective", underlines Paul Armitage, Director of the National Golf.

The giant tees of Hubert Privé, fashionable plastic sculptor

Hubert Privé's works are exhibited all over the world (United States, United Arab Emirates, Switzerland, Morocco, Monaco, Mauritius, India). And it was in May 2011, when France was chosen to host the 2018 Ryder Cup, that he started working on giant tees: “ The values that I share with golf, namely humility, respect for oneself, for others and for the environment, call on the golfer to grow. These giant tees thus symbolize the rise of the human golfer, in search of perfection. "

Today, his triptych composed of three tees (Blue, White, Red) is exhibited near the Golf National of Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines located near Paris. And to honor the presence of the American and European teams on the occasion of the 42nd edition of the Ryder Cup which will take place there, Hubert Privé has also produced three major works: “France 2018”, “2018, Triptyque” and “2018 , with the stars ”.
