Having started in August with Stage I, the Qualifying School are coming to an end and the wait was long for the players who have gone through all the stages. The second round of the Q-School Series is played this week at the Highland Oaks Golf Club, on a composite course with nine holes of the Highland course then nine holes of the Marshwood course.

Only 70 players will take the start of this last stage. Remember that the allocation of playing rights for the LPGA Tour is done as follows:

  • Place 1-20: a full category on the LPGA Tour
  • Place 21-45 (and tie): a category 14 on the LPGA Tour as well as a category C on the Symetra Tour.

It is also recalled that the 70 players will start this last round, with the score played during the first week of the Q-Series at Magnolia Grove.

Blue side:

Three French women will participate in this last stage: Pauline Roussin-Bouchard, Agathe Laisné and Julie Aimé.

Pauline Roussin-Bouchard will attack this second week of the Q-Series as a leader at -19. After winning the Stage II of the Qualifying School, Pauline Roussin-Bouchard continued its momentum by placing itself as leader in the first week. Alain Alberti had said before the Q-Series started that the top 20 was the goal. We hope that the University of South Carolina player will continue to make us dream this week.

Agathe Laisné will start at -2, she is currently 42nd, in the nails to obtain a playing right on the LPGA Tour.

Julie Aimé will start Thursday at +1, in 62nd position. She is three moves away from a qualifying place to get a card on the LPGA.
