Céline Boutier returns this week to New Jersey in Galloway, to defend her title gleaned last year: the ShopRite LPGA Classic. She had therefore played her best career score on Sunday, a 63 (-8), bringing her her second victory on the American circuit. Perrine Delacour, Agathe Laisné and Céline Herbin will also be part of the Seaview Bay Course.

After a major week at the US Women's Open, the LPGA Tour returns this week for a regular tournament on the circuit: the ShopRite LPGA Classic presented by Acer. It will be played on the Bay Course in Seaview, New Jersey, a par 71 of 6190 yards. This tournament is a historic event of the LPGA Tour, created in 1986. It was deprogrammed from the calendar in 2006 before returning in 2010.

Last year, the tournament crowned a Frenchwoman, Céline Boutier, thus winning her second victory on the LPGA Tour. She won with a small lead over the trio Brooke M. Henderson (Canada), Jin Young Ko (South Korea) and Inbee Park (South Korea). The two Koreans were also in the lead at the start of the last lap, our French number 1 having had to lead a charge to recover from being five strokes behind. She plays 63 (-8) in the last round, with a final birdie at 18, the birdie of victory.

"It's really cool to see a lot of people recognizing me [...] I think the swing is getting a little bit better week by week, so hopefully that will continue and the next few weeks will be solid," said Celine Boutier.

The 17th player in the world will not be the only representative of the French clan since Perrine Delacour, Agathe Laisné and Céline Herbin will also be present in New Jersey.
