Reported in The Wall Street Journal this Wednesday, eleven LIV Golf players have decided to sue the PGA Tour over their suspensions. These eleven players are Phil Mickelson, Bryson DeChambeau, Talor Gooch, Hudson Swafford, Matt Jones, Abraham Ancer, Carlos Ortiz, Ian Poulter, Pat Perez, Jason Kokrak and Peter Uihlein.

The FedEx Cup playoff tournaments begin in a week and as of today, Taylor Gooch, Matt Jones and Hudson Swafford (in the FedEx Cup top 125), are still not allowed to join the event.

“The Tour’s illegal strategy has both been detrimental to players and has succeeded in threatening LIV Golf’s otherwise promising launch. The Tour has exercised its monopoly power, including by enforcing its illegal restrictions on players, which prevent them from selling their services to others, by imposing long suspensions on players who are only exercising their right, as contractors independents, performing in a competing promoter's events, and escalating his threats against complainants and others. ”, excerpt from the complaint against the PGA Tour.

Jay Monahan and the PGA Tour have obviously decided to unite against these lawsuits remaining on his course of action: "Let me be clear: we will continue to defend our members who remain on the tour by the rules written by and for the players"

The players therefore hope that this fight against the biggest circuit in the world will end in their favor. Abraham Ancer: “Everything changes day by day, so I don't even know what's going on. I am engaged with LIV, but I would like to play all over the world. We'll see what happens. »

This complaint, however, led to many reactions, especially among the players, having the impression of being attacked by their pairs.
