DDESSINPARIS (18): 6th edition from March 23 to 25, 2018
The fifth edition of DDESSINPARIS, the contemporary drawing firm in an intimate format and at the forefront of graphic design, will once again take over Atelier Richelieu from March 23 to 25, 2018.
This sixth edition will confirm both the place of DDESSINPARIS at the heart of Drawing Week and its specificities, which set it apart from the other events in March devoted to drawing in all its forms.
The ambition of DDESSINPARIS (18) is in the spirit of Eve de Medeiros, its founding director: to give a chance to talented national and international artists and to create links between the various actors of the art world. The artistic direction of DDESSINPARIS (18) will testify to this commitment.

Specific projects
Drawing and Smartphone
In a dedicated space, DDESSINPARIS invites you to experiment with drawn works which all have a relationship with the Smartphone.
The artists nursery
This space aims to present the work of very young artists and thus highlight an avant-garde, innovative drawing scene. For its first edition, the Artists' Nursery will welcome Arthur Novak, Florian N'Guyen, Corine Borgnet and Jessy Deshais.
A performance by the Ensaders Collective
During the performance, the Ensaders collective
will be accompanied by the guitarist of today's jazz scene, Pierre Durand.
The DDESSINPARIS award (18)
The show is pleased to announce, jointly with the French Institute of Saint-Louis in Senegal, directed by Marc Monsallier, the presentation of the DDESSINPARIS / INSTITUT FRANÇAIS DE SAINT-LOUIS DU SÉNÉGAL Prize.
A prize will be awarded this year by a jury made up of professionals from the world of art and culture and other personalities, chaired by Thierry Forien, collector of classical and contemporary art, member of the Board of Directors of the Friends of Palais de Tokyo and President for three years of the Discovery Prize of the Friends of the Palais de Tokyo, member of the ADIAF and patron of the Maison Rouge.
The winner will see his or her work rewarded with a three-week artist residency at the Institute! In return, he or she will return one of his works produced as part of his residency and will make himself available to meet the inhabitants of Saint-Louis in Senegal during a presentation of his work, in the presence of the direction of the Institute.
The award ceremony will take place on Thursday March 22 (at the opening) at 20 p.m.
