The ffgolf confirmed via a press release that golf courses in the 16 confined departments can remain open.
So the players may continue to play golf, provided that the barrier gestures and the travel limit, set at 10 kilometers from home, are respected.

This is a major step forward, and a very striking recognition of our discipline, on the part of the Executive. Indeed, the work that the ffgolf has carried out for many months, alongside other outdoor activities, have led our interlocutors at the highest level of the State, to take into account the benefits of our practices, as well as their safety in terms of risk of contamination.

Let us recall here that during the first 2 confinements, our clubs had to undergo administrative closures. More recently, a limitation of the practice time reduced to 1 hour and less than 5 km from home extended to many territories, had been considered.

In addition, with regard specifically to golf schools, and in accordance with the Prime Minister's remarks, minors' access to golfing activities (in the open air) is maintained, without limitation of duration and distance from home (unlike adults).
