Supported by Moma Group, chef Julien Sebbag settles down on the terrace of Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann and presents the restaurant CRÉATURES, an ephemeral, creative and 100% vegetarian place of life open from mid-June to mid-October.

The origins of the CREATURES of Moma Group & Julien Sebbag

Create an atypical living space for the terrace of Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann: here is the challenge taken up by Moma Group which will unveil in mid-June a temporary restaurant orchestrated by the young chef Julien Sebbag.

The project is being built in resonance and in total harmony at Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann, with a vegetarian restaurant, urban vegetable gardens, a mixology bar focused on herbs and plants, a summer & festive program and an esplanade revisited in a warm ecosystem, atypical & whimsical in the open air. In other words: a real refuge for the Parisian and international urban tribes who tread the roofs of the department store all year round.

CREATURES: A vegetal refuge in the ultra-urban

At the top of Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann, “creatures” are in the spotlight.

Vegetables, fruits, herbs, plants or flowers evoke a return to sources and nature in the heart of the city, in front of the most beautiful view of Paris. A universe well marked and typical of Julien Sebbag - cabinet of curiosities style.

In partnership with Sous les Fraises, the terrace of the Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann then becomes a Parisian vegetable garden which will provide part of the restaurant and bar.

CREATURES: Rediscover the flavor of vegetables

When we ask Julien Sebbag to explain his relationship to plants, his answer is clear: "I am the victim of an indescribable and carnal obsession for vegetables, I find them humble, magnificent in their variety, reassuring, sweet, surprising and at the same time so predictable ...". A good reason to make CREATURES a vegetarian restaurant.

For 10 months, the young chef has refueled every Tuesday evening on the floor of the Bus Palladium: to book Chez Oim, you must now do it several months in advance.

Talented, sensitive and passionate, Julien Sebbag wows his audience as much as he intrigues them.

A la carte, vegetarian & vegan breakfasts, beautiful salads - cucumber, black currants & basil or fennel, colorabi, ricotta, avocado & summer pear - roasted peaches with Feta, strawberries with Mozzarella di Buffala smoke, beautiful roasted cauliflower, humus galore, generous focaccia of fresh vegetables or even sublime aubergine pancakes.

A multitude of tastes, colors and delicacies that will appeal to all palates, including the most reluctant to fruits and vegetables since Julien Sebbag aims to make them "Sexy, gourmet, innovative, delicious, amazing and exciting".

Another special feature: the chef and his teams will prepare the dishes in front of their guests behind an open kitchen, in a whimsical environment and a scenography with retro influences.

CREATURES: A lush terrace on the most beautiful roof in Paris

A vegetable, colorful and summer break: the Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann terrace is transformed into a warm and fleeting Oasis.

The space is built as a real living space where you can enjoy gourmet vegetarian cuisine, have a drink, read, meet up, party, contemplate the view or have a good time.
