It is with joy and pride that the Crazy Horse accepted the invitation of Jean de Loisy, artistic director of Nuit Blanche and President of the Palais de Tokyo, to participate in the 2016 edition of Nuit Blanche, which will offer a course on the theme of the crossing, articulated around the Seine and its bridges.

Since 2002, the city of Paris has organized Nuit Blanche every year on the first Saturday in October. The 2016 edition will be held on the night of Saturday, October 1 from 19 p.m. until early morning. It is a question of proposing a large popular and festive event, centered on the installation of works of art in public space or in emblematic Parisian buildings.

This year, Nuit Blanche will be an opportunity to discover the city in a different way with a route designed as a symbolic cartography that invites the visitor to experience a love quest, along the Seine, from the Town Hall to the Île aux Cygnes and until the Paris of tomorrow with the Société du Grand Paris. Nuit Blanche 2016 has Poliphile as the common thread, hero of an Italian illustrated novel of 1467, who scours the ancient vestiges of Treviso in the Quattrocento in search of his beloved Polia. Like him, the visitor will be invited to stroll through the city by going through various tests of self-transformation.

The Muses of Crazy Horse at the Petit Palais In the gardens of the Petit Palais, a bewitching encounter soothes Poliphile. Like many times in the novel, the nymphs come to the aid of our proven hero to guide and amaze him. As a sign of rupture with the real world, a flash
of white light dazzles visitors who enter the garden. It is a magical world that they discover in this sumptuous 1900 decor.

Hidden behind the columns of the peristyle, the Crazy Horse nymphs seem to have
refugees in this enchanting place. In the middle of the central basin, they wave their dresses
vaporous and whisper softly to the ear of visitors.

A must-see cabaret for Parisian nights, in 2016 the Crazy Horse celebrates 65 years of Parisian creation and chic. The mythical House is renowned for its dancers with chimerical names, dressed in light and mystery. On stage, the Crazy Girls, sensual, playful and evocative of legend, compose the stars of the Parisian night sky.

The Crazy Horse has always inspired the greatest artists thanks to its reputation and its unique know-how to sublimate women. Since 2006, by welcoming muses and creators from the world of dance and fashion, the cabaret constantly renews its vision of sensuality and femininity.

From October 5 to December 31, 2016, it is the famous Parisian lingerie designer Chantal Thomass who takes the reins of the artistic direction of the cabaret. Accompanied by teams from Crazy Horse and choreographer Stéphane Jarny, she has thus created several exclusive paintings and reworked iconic Crazy Horse numbers, for a wildly glamorous show entitled Dessous Dessus.
