The Shaughnessy Golf and Country Club will now host the CP Women's Open in 2023. CP has also extended its partnership with Golf Canada until 2024.

"With the CP, the LPGA Tour and our friends from Shaughnessy, we share the deep disappointment of players, volunteers, partners and golf fans at the cancellation of the CP Women's Open 2021", said Laurence Applebaum, CEO of Golf Canada, in a statement. “Even with our extensive health and safety plan, we continued to face a number of significant logistical challenges which led to this unfortunate decision for a second year. "

The CP Women's Open 2022 will be held at the Ottawa Hunt and Golf Club from August 25-28.
