Co-leader at the start of the last lap, Céline Boutier could not resist the charge of the Korean Jin Young Ko who posted a sublime 63 (-9).
Our Frenchwoman finally finished third, five strokes away from victory.

The LPGA Tour season drew to a close this week with the highlight of the CME Group Tour Championship. This last meeting of the season brought together the sixty best players on the planet for the Race to CME Globe at the Tiberon Golf Club with a total prize money of $ 5 million.

Céline Boutier will have made us dream during this final stage of the LPGA Tour. After two laps in 65 (-7), she alone takes control of the tournament at -14, counting four strokes ahead of her first pursuers. During the moving day, our tricolor saw a more difficult day with a simple card in the par despite 100% fairway in regulation. She still remains at the forefront, sharing leadership with Nelly korda, Jin young ko et NASA Hataoka to -14.

The French number 1 therefore set off this Sunday with the outsider cap, against among others, the world number 1 and 2. After a see-saw with two birdies for two bogeys, our national Celine is six strokes behind Korean Jin Young Ko, who plays 30 (-6) in the first leg.

Boutier begins her return with a birdie on the 10, then a new one on the 16, followed by an eagle on the par 5 of the 17. She ends her tournament with a card of 68 (-4) but could not resist to the two superb maps of Jin Young Ko and Nasa Hataoka.

The Japanese gave everything on this last lap with a 64 (-8), but failed with a small stroke of victory.

Jin Young Ko simply makes the best card of the day, a perfect day with 100% fairways in regulation and 100% greens in regulation and a sumptuous 63 (-9)

She therefore won the CME Globe Tour Championship for the second year in a row and at the same time pocketed for the third year in a row, the best place in the classification of the LPGA circuit.

Céline Boutier finished on the final podium of this CME Group Tour Championship, in third position and ended her LPGA Tour season in 18th place.

There world number 1, Nelly Korda finished at the foot of the podium in 5th position and failed in second place in the classification of the LPGA circuit.

Lydia Ko, thanks to a last card in 64 (-8), and a return in 30 (-6), four birdies and an eagle, climbs to the 9th position.

She completes the podium of the Race To CME Globe.
