After twenty-six contested tournaments, the season of the European second division ends in Spain at the T Golf & Country Club near Mallorca. The 45 best players of the season will participate in the Rolex Challenge Tour Grand Final supporter by The R&A.

This tournament will take place without a Cut, and will therefore allow all players to fight for four days to obtain a card on the European Tour. This Road to Mallorca is therefore about to end with only twenty places for forty-five candidates. Despite everything, the final ranking of this order of merit will still determine the categories that the players will obtain next year.

The current leader of the Race to Mallorca is the Spaniard Santiago Tarrio, thanks to two victories, three top 3 and four top 10. Julien Brun, best Frenchman in the standings, also won two tournaments during his season and is at the top. fourth place in the Challenge Tour order of merit.

Five French people will be present in the Balearic Islands: Julien Brun, Frédéric Lacroix, Ugo Coussaud, Félix Mory and Jérôme Lando-Casanova.

The first two on this list will take part in the European Tour next year. Julien Brun, thanks to his two victories, is fourth in the order of merit, while Frédéric Lacroix is ​​currently eleventh. The other three will battle with all the players to score valuable points in this last tournament of the season.
