Having grown up in a resort in Val Thorens, I got into board sports very early. I immediately appreciated the speed and the thrills that snowboard cross gave me. So I practiced it in competition to reach the highest level. I became an Olympic Medalist in 2014 and Vice World Champion in 2017 and World Team Champion with Nelly Moenne-Loccoz.

And I am currently preparing the 2018 season with in particular the Olympic Games which will take place in February in PyeongChang in South Korea.

And there is the summer break .. while waiting for the snow?

Oh no, far from it! We have 4 weeks of rest at the end of April, but since mid-May I have resumed physical preparation and snowboarding courses on the glaciers (Val d'Isère, Deux Alpes), we are going to Chile in August to continue training and prepare for the first World Cup in September in Argentina.

You are Ambassador of Val Thorens but also very close to Saint-Jean-de-Monts?

In fact, I shared my childhood between Saint-Jean-de-Monts with my dad and Val Thorens on the mother's side. I changed schools every six months and took advantage of board sports in the Alps in winter, then the beach and horses in the Vendée the rest of the year. Horse riding is my other passion and I would also like to progress in competitions to eventually reach the big show jumping events.

And what particularly interests us in swing-feminin .. you also like to play golf! What is your level?

I started recently, in 2014, and am therefore not yet regular but I love and have the chance to play on very nice courses for events to which I am invited. There is also a great golf course in Saint-Jean-de-Monts, along the beach, it's splendid!

How did the "virus" come about?

No one is a golfer in my family but after my Olympic medal, I was invited to the great golf event, “les Balles Blanches”. I had professional advice and quickly took a liking to the sport.

For what reasons ?

It is practiced in the great outdoors in great places, like my sport! I appreciate being able to share a game with people of all levels and make great encounters around an outdoor activity. There is the pleasure of seeing his ball go straight and far, when all is going well. And for me it is a real challenge to play golf. Indeed the calm, the relaxation and the patience that this sport requires are not my basic qualities. So it makes me work on my weak points!
Which ?

Golf requires extreme concentration just like snowboard cross! It completes my mental preparation, staying calm, relaxed and focused even when it doesn't go as well as I would like.

Are you better at putting or swinging?

I am told that I have a nice swing, not as efficient as I would like, but I have many years to go to improve it ...
My favorite club is iron 7, my sure bet.

What golf courses do you particularly like?

The Priory golf course is fabulous, it has two beautiful courses and the area is full of charm. I also really like the Old Course Golf in Mandelieu, by the sea surrounded by magnificent trees.

Do you have time for golf competitions?

I do some scramble competitions, often for charities like the White Balls, the Oriental Legends or the Mapauto which are great events and more for good causes.

Have you had the opportunity to play with golf champions?

Yes, I shared a few games with Thomas Levet, who advised me a lot! What a pleasure to play with such a golfer who also has a passion for teaching.

In 2018, your Olympics - we will be one of your fervent supporters - and .. in June in France will take place the Rider Cup, the major world golf event in France.

I would love to attend, it will be great!
