Three-time LPGA Tour champion and Major champion, along with her boyfriend, PGA Tour player Maverick McNealy, decided to use their notoriety and come up with a challenge with #ChallengeEachOther to benefit Three Square, a food bank in the Las Vegas area.

"Meanwhile, I know it is very frustrating for us golfers not to be able to train or participate in competitions"said Kang. “However, we all know that some of us are in a better situation than (others). I personally know that food is a problem for a lot of people whether there is a pandemic or not, which made us think the problem must have been getting worse. "

Kang first started volunteering for Three Square earlier this year, where one dollar equals three meals for those in need. According to Kang, the organization relies on funds, volunteers and donations to help more than 164 people who have no resources each month. She said she is resolutely committed to helping people in need of food after working with UNICEF United States and UNICEF Korea, and participating in the Birdies for a Brighter Future campaign which has Allowed to collect donations to support nutrition financing with UNICEF.

In her original video on the fundraising #ChallengeEachOther Instagram page, Kang and McNealy explained the essence of the social media challenge with the original challenge - juggling a golf ball ten times with any club and the catch up in a pocket - and have asked their communities, friends and fans to continue to supplement, sharing with a pledge. The response has gone global.

“The responses have been incredibly positive. More than anything, we like to see the smiles on everyone's faces., On each.video »said Mr. Kang. “We got to watch videos from all over the world. Malaysia, Korea, London, Scotland, Japan, Singapore, Canada… the list goes on! "

“Social media has given us the opportunity to connect and we hope people can see how much impact each person can make. When people come together, there is nothing we cannot accomplish. "

Other LPGA Tour players also took the #ChallengeEachOther in turn:

Kang hopes her message will bear fruit in the unfortunate circumstances that keep her at home instead of involving her in the LPGA Tour. "Maverick and I hope to create more chain reactions of challenges where people can challenge their own friends and family with whatever they desire."said Kang. “We hope to convey that challenging yourself in life is a way to learn from and improve from each other.
