For this fourth edition of the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions, 29 players, including Céline Boutier, gathered at the Lake Nona Golf and Country Club in Orlando, Florida. With a last lap of 68 (-4), Solheim Cup player Danielle Kang won the tournament, beating Switzerland's Brooke M. Henderson by three strokes. She returns cards of 68-67-69-68 to end her week at -16.

It's revenge for the American, who was defeated last year in the play-off by Jessica Korda. She thus pocketed her 6th victory on the PGA Tour.

Céline Boutier finished just off the podium in her first event of the season. After closing her 2021 year with a third place at the CME Group Tour Championship, Céline Boutier starts her season on a high note with this top 5. With a last card of 71 (-1), she finally ends at -10 at the fourth place, alongside world number 1 Nelly Korda.
The French number 1, present thanks to her victory at the SHOPRITE LPGA CLASSIC Presented by ACER, produced solid golf during these 72 holes:

  • 80,5% fairways
  • 78% green in regulation
  • 29 putts average

Nelly Korda therefore ends up alongside Céline Boutier at -10, the fault of a difficult last lap in 75 (+3). She will never have been in the game for victory this Sunday with four bogeys for a single birdie, at the end of the game on par 5 of hole 15. She finished a shot ahead of her sister Jessica Korda. The 2021 champion of champions is playing in par for this last round, probably without the expected finish, three bogeys on the last three holes.
