After two controlled laps in 70 (-2) and 69 (-3), Céline Boutier is at the forefront of the Chevron Championship in 9th place, four strokes behind the leader Hinako Shibuno. Pauline Roussin-Bouchard and Perrine Delacour rank 54th, in the par total.

For this last edition of a major at Mission Hills, the Chevron Championship, it is Hinako Shibuno who leads the dance with a total of -9. She plays 69 (-3) before giving up a card of 66 (-6) the second turn. She is one step ahead of her first pursuers, Annie Park, Patty Tavatanakit and Jennifer Kupcho.

The reigning Thai champion Patty Tavatanakit does not intend to return her trophy and is in good condition to start the weekend.

The first Frenchwoman ranks 9th at -5 in the person of Céline Boutier. The double winner on the LPGA Tour was able to remain patient during her first round: -1 at the start of the 8th, she only signs pars until the par 5 of the 18th. She concludes her game with a birdie for a first card of 70 (-2). The French number 1 started from 10 for the second round, which succeeded on her outward journey with a passage in -4. She unfortunately signs a double bogey on her eleventh hole, before a last birdie on her 14th hole for a card of 69 (-3).

Pauline Roussin-Bouchard, rookie of the LPGA Tour signs a first card on this Chevron Championship under par in -3: five birdies for two bogeys. His second day finally ends with a card of 75 (+3), four bogeys, including three on par 5, against a birdie. She still passes the Cut in 54th position.

Perrine Delacour also passes the Cut, in the same position as her young compatriot. After a first round in 75 (+3), the 87th player in the world signs a card of 69 (-3), punctuated by four birdies on her last seven holes. This sequence of good shots allows him to afford a place to play at the weekend.
