On the PGA Catalunya of Girona, the final victory was decided during a play off. This sudden death was decided between two players: Adri Arnaus and Oliver Bekker. The latter, party leader on Sunday, enters a card of 72, in par. This South African will have made three birdies for three bogeys on this last lap.

His competitor meanwhile signed an almost perfect day in 65 (-7) with five birdies for an eagle. He makes the second best Sunday card to interfere in this play-off.

The two men first played the 18th hole five times, missing the birdie in turn, signing only pars. The victory was finally played on the sixth hole of play off, at hole 17. Oliver Bekker unfortunately signs a bogey, leaving a putt for the par synonymous with victory for Arnaus. The Spaniard does not tremble and hangs his first title of the European circuit on his record. This victory allows him to enter the top 10 of the Race To Dubai, in sixth position. He also gained thirty places in the world rankings and now ranks 52nd.

Sunday's best card is attributed to Hennie Du Plessis who signs six birdies and an eagle for a card of 64 (-8). He finished his tournament in sixth position at -8 total.
