Carly Booth returned to DLF Golf and Country Club to compete in the Hero Women's Indian Open this week, where she will be looking a third Ladies European Tour title among a field of 114 players.

A big fan of India, Carly was chosen to feature in the Incredible India global marketing campaign, which was filmed in New Delhi and Calcutta, in April.

“It was great to come to India and see a few different games because when I play in a golf tournament I usually only see the hotel course and the golf course, but I had three days of exploring and shooting "said the former reigning Aberdeen Asset Management Ladies Scottish Open and Deutsche Bank Swiss Open champion, who was seen playing cricket and on the Gully golf course, as well as on some of the golf courses in world class from India.

She added: “I love the food here and have seen some really beautiful parts of India. I feel blessed, but I still want to go to the Taj Mahal ”.

Carly was chosen by the producers thanks to its strong reputation. She added: “It was nice to be asked and recognized because I spend a lot of time and effort on social media. When I am at a golf tournament I am focused on my golf, but during the shoot I had the opportunity to discover and see more ”.

“Regarding this week, I hit the ball well and I have to keep that confidence high. My game is not far off and it's a lot in my head. I just have to believe in myself: it's my only goal this week - and to have fun ”.

India's rising star Aditi Ashok ready for home challenge

Aditi Ashok returned to DLF Golf and Country Club in Gurgaon to defend her title at the Hero Women's Indian Open this week.

Despite being a woman in demand by local media, the 19-year-old from Bangalore says she doesn't feel extra pressure to perform well at home.

"People think I like this golf course and it is true, but it is not easy and my chances are the same as those of others", said the triple LET champion, who collected her third Tour trophy on Saturday at the Fatima bint Mubarak Ladies open in Abu Dhabi.

“I play golf because I love it and even when I was an amateur, if I had to play my game, I did. Obviously I would love to have another win here and playing in this tournament means a lot to me. I could have played in China this week, where there is no cut, but I love to play in India, so I decided to come here ”.

Aditi Ashok played la most of his career on the US-based LPGA Tour, but still prefers to live in la home and travel for de long periods.
