After several years spent at the highest level without having an equipment supplier for his bag, Brooks Koepka joined the Srixon Cleveland group. The brand formalized the start of this collaboration earlier this week.

Already a quadruple winner in major and having achieved the feat of twice retaining titles in majors - 2017,2018 US Open champion and 2018,2019 USPGA champion - Brooks Koepka was previously without a brand contract for its clubs. The Floridian is a very followed player on social networks with more than a million followers on Instagram, he is also a former world number 1 and player of Presidents Cup and Ryder Cup. This collaboration is a big blow for the Srixon group which adds a new major winner to its Team, already counting players such as Shane Lowry or Hideki Matsuyama.

He is however under contract with Nike for the textile, collaboration which will have offered many collector model of shoes made especially for the native of West Palm Beach.

After being sidelined for many months due to his knee injury, Koepka said he wanted to reconnect with the highest level and work with the Srixon Cleveland Group to develop the brand and their products.

Brooks Koepka, although he was not under contract with Srixon, has already adopted the ZX7 series of irons a few months ago, which he considers "the best irons he has played on the tour".

“I am very excited to join my friends Shane Lowry, Graeme McDowell and Hideki Matsuyama as a member of the Srixon Cleveland team. I was without an equipment supplier for the last few years, so it will be nice to get involved with the brand and to be able to contribute to the development of their future products. I started playing the ZX7 irons in January and they are the best irons I have played on the tour. Brooks Koepka said.

The Srixon Cleveland clubs that Koepka includes in his bag:

  • Driver Srixon ZX5 9,5 °, Shaft Mitsubishi Diamant D + 70 TX in 44,5 inch
  • Srixon ZX7 Irons, True Temper Dynamic Gold TI X100 Shafts
  • Cleveland RTX ZipCore wedges (TourRack finish), True Temper Dynamic Gold S400s shafts, 52 °, 56 ° and 60 °.

He will also play a Srixon Z-Star prototype ball and have a Srixon Staff bag.
