Two rounds played at the Chevron Championship and there will be no French this weekend. Two players share the lead at -8: Jin Hee Im (COR) and Atthaya Thitikul (THA).

The two women follow each other with cards of 69 (-3) then 67 (-5). The young Thai Atthaya Thitikul, in the world top 10, is still chasing her first major victory, she who already has two successes on the LPGA Tour at only 21 years old.

Nelly Korda remains at the top of the leaderboard heading into the weekend. With a card of 69 (-3), she is 3rd, one shot from the lead. Her day, however, started badly with a double bogey from the 1st. She, who already has ten victories on the LPGA, is still looking for a second victory in a major. Her title dates back to 2021 with her victory at the KPMG Women's PGA Championship.

The leader of the first round Lauren Coughlin fell slightly in the ranking with a card of 73 (+1). She is 5th.

There will be no French at the start of the Chevron Championship this weekend. After a difficult first day, Perrine Delacour played very good golf this Friday helped by a great day of putting (26 putts). She unfortunately misses the Cut all at once. The punishment is the same for French number 1 Céline Boutier who misses the Cut by two strokes, with a new card over par in 73 (+1).
