The French Golf Federation is at the dawn of great challenges. The return of golf to the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio (Brazil), the hosting of the 2018 Ryder Cup at the Golf National (Saint-Quentin en Yvelines - France) and the emergence of professional players at the highest international level constitute unique opportunities to give the development of this sport a tremendous boost.

This momentum is actively supported by BMW France, a partner committed for many years to the ffgolf with invaluable support from the actions deployed by President Charon and his predecessors for the development of French golf.

BMW is thus renewing its commitment for four new seasons. "  Our partnership with FFGolf is an extension of our many commitments in golf. After the PGA European Tour, the sponsorship of six major tournaments on the European circuit, then our support since 2006 on the Ryder Cup, BMW France had to support the French federal policy for the development of golf "Underlines Serge Naudin, president of BMW Group France.

BMW France Marketing Director Pierre Jalady adds “ the implication for golf at the world level of our parent company, which, I must stress it celebrates its centenary this year, was the catalyst element of our investments in France as well with the FFGolf, as its centenary tournament the Open of France "" BMW also livens up the life of licensees by offering open events that count for the national ranking such as: the BMW Golf Cup France considered to date as the largest amateur tournament in France (100 qualifications) and the Madame Figaro Trophy»

BMW's decision comes a year after the evolution of the marketing offer of the French Golf Federation. “The return of golf to the Olympic Games and the hosting of the Ryder Cup in 2018 are major milestones but only one step. Our desire is to see further and to use these deadlines as levers to sustainably advance golf in all its dimensions. This involved in particular work on the attractiveness of golf with partners. I am very happy with the loyalty of BMW and I thank them for their trust. This loyalty rewards the directions taken by the federation and our ability to evolve, ”said Jean Lou Charon.
