The players to follow

Jin young ko

No. 1 in the Rolex Women's World Golf Rankings, Jin Young Ko is headlining the BMW Ladies Championship where she will make her fourth appearance in 2019, in South Korea, on the occasion of the 2019 season. Starting off on the KLPGA, Ko won his third major Major victory of the year. This week at home in Korea, Ko will look to maintain the consistency she has shown week after week. She recorded her sixth consecutive top-20 last week at the Buick LPGA Shanghai where she finished T9 for her 11th top-10 of 2019. If Ko manages to keep her momentum going through the final stretch of the Tour, she has a chance to win the title of Rolex Player of the Year, the Vare Trophy and the endowment of the title. She is also currently leading the Race to the CME Globe.

Jeongeun Lee6

Jeongeun Lee6, who, like Ko, will enjoy performing in his native country this week at the BMW Ladies Championship. Lee6 has already secured the Louise Suggs Rolex Rookie of the Year title, but has a chance to eclipse Ko on the money list and in the Rolex Player of the Year rankings. She is also currently 3rd for the Race to the CME Globe, which gives Lee6 more than just a title to contend for in the final events of the year. Lee6 finished in T20 last week in Shanghai.

Brooke Henderson

Brooke Henderson continued her impressive series of golfing prowess by adding a fifth consecutive top-20 to her record with a T9 ranking in Shanghai, where she took the lead after two days. But the Canadian finished the week with 73 consecutive laps to outrun the leading group. However, his strong performance saw him tied with Ko at the top of the top-10 leaderboards.

Notable quote

“Consecutively, that sounds good. This is what I did in the US and would do it again. It's really cool to defend your title, so I'm really excited. - Danielle Kang successfully defended her title at the Buick LPGA Shanghai last week, a feat she last accomplished in 2010 and 2011 at the US Women's Amateur Championship.

BMW Ladies Championship: all there is to knowThe Aon Risk Reward Challenge Hole

There are three events remaining in the Aon Risk Reward Challenge which lasts for the entire season. The 11-meter 5th par-462 hole at LPGA International Busan will serve as a tough test for players during the BMW Ladies Championship. Bunkers come into play from the start and should be avoided in order to have a chance to get to the green in two strokes. Players who manage to find the fairway with their driver will be able to enjoy the sloping fairway, and with enough bearings, they will only have 185 yards left on the green. Players who choose to make their way to the putting surface in two strokes should also consider the water along the right side of the fairway as well as three bunkers defending the green.
