Those who welcomed the creation of the Trophies with great enthusiasm last year are committed once again and are happy to support the development of an exceptional evening. “In 2015, Blue Green wished to join the first edition of the Golf Trophies, considering that it was important to have such an event in France rewarding the best sporting results as well as all the players involved in the dynamism of this sport. Blue Green, as the leading golf network in Europe, training more than 7000 new golfers per year, had also chosen to award the Trophy of Hope, symbolizing youth and progress, values ​​dear to the company. We are happy to repeat the adventure in 2016 in order to continue to promote golf, ”explains Géry Watine.

An exceptional president

Like last year, it is a jury composed of 18 representative personalities who will choose the 2016 winners. After Jean Van de Velde last year, it is another huge player in golf who will chair the 2016 jury: Thomas Levet . For Golfers of the Year trophies, Internet users will be able to vote on the Golf Trophies site (www.tropheesdugolf.fr). These votes will be added to those of the jury.

Election of the player of the month

Launched last summer, the election of the player of the month was a great success. Four Golf Trophy partners (FFGolf, PGA, Golf + and the Golf Journal / Team) exchange monthly to propose three players who have distinguished themselves by their exceptional performance and submit them to the votes of the public. For the month of February, Alexander Lévy, the number 2 French in the world ranking, was rewarded for his second place in Perth.

“By instituting this election of the player of the month, our desire was, as for the Golf Trophies, to highlight our sport. Following the first edition and given the many positive feedbacks and support that we were able to benefit from after the evening, we wanted to go further and honor French performances regularly between two editions. All of this is part of a great dynamic. After setting the bar high from the first edition, we have very good goals for next December. The FFGolf and PGA France, our institutional partners, have already renewed their support to accompany us in the success of the evening. Blue Green also becomes a faithful supporter and I thank them. Géry Watine was the first partner to follow us to sponsor a Trophy. It is the first to renew its partnership. This sustainability is a pledge of confidence and I am very proud of it. In addition, we are also working very intensively with the Canal Plus Group and Golf Plus to bring the best possible media exposure to the evening. ” explains Antoine Robin, creator of the Golf Trophies.

It is on the stage of the Pavillon Dauphine that all French golfers will be expected on December 12. Until the next edition of the Trophies, we wish a successful 10th anniversary at the Salon du Golf which opens today at Porte de Versailles.
