The 20-year-old concluded an excellent week, in which she completed laps of 66, 72, 65 and 67 to triumph with a score of 18 under par at the Rosendaelsche Golf Club.

The victory is also Kyriacou's first as a professional after winning the Geoff King Motors Australian Ladies Classic Bonville in 2020, while still an amateur, with her father Nick on the bag.

" I am glad ! I forgot what it was like to win, it's been a while. There was some really good golf there, Sanna [Nuutinen] played really well, and she put in some really long putts. It was pretty tight, and I was a little nervous », Kyriacou said.

“It's something quite special. He's been there since day one. He spent all of his time and energy when I was little, so having my dad with me for a win is pretty special. All my friends stayed up to see my score! I am very grateful to the whole team for the support I have had. "

Kyriacou got off to a great start with a birdie on the opening hole, then strung back-to-back birdies on the five and six to post the first 9 holes in 33.

The LET Rookie of the Year 2020 ended a streak of nine pars with back-to-back birdies at 16 and 17 - the latter of which allowed her to regain the lead.

But the situation was not easy for the Australian on the last hole, as she had to recover from a few lost strokes to make the par.

Finland's Sanna Nuutinen clocked a final lap of 69, with six birdies and three bogeys, to finish in second place with a score of 16 under par.

The Finn equaled her best result on the LET and thanks to her consistency in 2021, this result propelled her to the top of the Race to Costa del Sol standings.

Scotland's Kylie Henry clocked a final lap of 68 to finish third with a score of 10 under par, while Thailand's Atthaya Thitikul was a stroke further behind in fourth.

Dutch golfer Dewi Weber finished the tournament in fifth place with laps of 69, 74, 69 and 68, and Austrian Christine Wolf finished in sixth place.

Germans Laura Fuenfstueck and Olivia Cowan completed final laps of 67 and 71, respectively, to complete T7, while Welshwoman Lydia Hall also signed a final round of 67 to be T9, alongside Germany's Leonie Harm, England's Ellie Givens and Scottish Carly Booth.

In the Race to Costa del Sol 2021 standings everything changed in the lead, Nuutinen leading with 932,42 points, Kyriacou second with 845,58 and Thitikul third with 804,17.
