A look back at the concept of this event intended for amateurs: in a unique and innovative format, the first 6-hole match-play and double mixed-up competition was organized in 24 clubs throughout France from June to September.

The 24 winning duos of these qualifications met on Monday, October 12 at Golf de Saint-Germain to contest the 3rd edition of the Beachcomber Golf Cup Final with the objective of the Grand Final in Mauritius at Trou aux Biches Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa.

A day of intense competition

The 24 teams played a 6-hole match against each of their 3 group opponents. The first two of each pool were qualified as well as the 4 best third to play the round of 6, still on XNUMX holes.

In the middle of the afternoon, the quarter-finals were known which would designate the 4 duos qualified to play the Grand Final in Mauritius.

The highlights of the Beachcomber Golf Cup Grand Final

The island of the Indian Ocean is a particularly popular destination for golfers. The Beachcomber Resorts & Hotels group offers 4 golf resorts:

The classification at the end of this group will determine the last 2 matches, the best of the 3 rounds of 6 holes: the 1st against the 2nd for the super final and the 3rd against the 4th for the small final.

To complete this exceptional experience, golfers will have the pleasure of sharing their passion with Julien Xanthopoulos. The former professional player and consultant for the Canal Plus group, sponsor of the event, will make his talent and expertise available to practitioners during two inevitably unforgettable clinics.

The winning duo of the competition will be honored in the same way as professional golfers at the Golf Trophy ceremony live on Golf +, offering an emphasis on the practice of amateur golf.
