One week before the grand final of the European Tour, it is Joachim B Hansen who wins this AVIV Dubai Championship. He won one step ahead of the duo Bernd Wiesberger and Francesco Laporta and added a second European Tour title to his record.

The European circuit season is drawing to a close and the race for the title of best player of the season is more than underway.

At the Jumeirah Golf Estates in Dubai, it is finally the Danish Joachim B. Hansen who wins. Co-leader at the start of the last lap with Francesco Laporta, he returned a card of 68 (-4) to win with a lead.

Antoine Rozner finished 4th two strokes away from victory. Winner of this title in 2020 for his first victory on the European Tour, the Racingman ensured a good defense of his title by returning cards of 65-64-69-70. After two first laps in -15, the weekend turned out to be more difficult.

This top 5 still allows the French to grab a few places in the world ranking, he now points to 119th place.

The results of the blues:

Mathieu Pavon finished 19th at -16. He scored four rounds under the 70 this week with cards 69-67-69-67.

Victor Perez thanks to a good Sunday in 65 (-7) gained twenty-eight places and finished in 24th position at -15.

Robin Roussel, Julien Guerrier and Romain Langasque all finished 31st at -14.

Mike Lorenzo-Vera ends a difficult season on the European Tour with a 44th place here in Dubai.

Joel Stalter finished 68th at -5.

It's time for the DP World Tour Championship

There is now only one tournament left for this 2021 European Tour season, the grand final in Dubai: the DP World Tour Championship. This final will be the last bearing the name of the European Tour circuit since from 2022, the European Tour will become the DP World Tour.

Two French people will be present: Antoine Rozner, currently 39th in the Race to Dubai and Victor Perez, 41st.

Even if the world number 1 and 3rd in the Race to Dubai, John Rahm, will not be present, other stars will take the start of the DP World Tour Championship. Colin Morikawa current leader of the European Order of Merit will try to become a Race to Dubai champion for the first time.
