The cuisine of Chef Xavier Burelle was distinguished by obtaining his first Plate, a new distinction in the Michelin Guide since 2016. The complete list of new star restaurants was revealed on Thursday 9 February.

The establishment Le Mas des Herbes Blanches, Relais & Châteaux compliments its talented chef and his entire team for having listed the Table du Mas as an unmissable gastronomic address in Provence thanks to obtaining a Plate in the Michelin Guide.

This reward is given to tables meeting the following definition: “Product quality and chef's knack: simply a good meal ».

Chef Xavier Burelle started cooking at the age of 15 and started working with Gérald Passédat in Marseille, Jean François Piège at Plaza d'Athénée, Arnaud Poette at Eden Roch, Michel Del Burgo at the Chantecler du Negresco before taking off at the Columbus in Monaco.

At the Table du Mas, he refines his culinary signature in his dishes which reflect his affection for the Luberon region as much as his curiosity and taste for invention.

Today, Chef Xavier Burelle prepares an emotional cuisine, he offers a gastronomic menu in which the local product is honored. In the plate, the landscapes of Provence reveal all their flavors. Each month, a menu based on a unique seasonal product makes it possible to identify the way in which Xavier Burelle can sublimate a product in its most delicious entrenchments.
