The Tarbais now have a status to assume and will experience greater pressure than a year ago, when he made his debut on the European Tour. He still hopes to stay relaxed and approach the Open like any other tournament.

Romain Langasque also hopes to finish the season with a victory which he has approached several times with 3 podiums. It is with enthusiasm that he hopes to tame the famous course of the Albatros which hosted the 2018 Ryder Cup won by the European team.

“It was by far my best season. I made 2 second places and I really think I could have done a little better.

I'm still chasing my first title, I feel that I'm progressing in several areas of my game and I think it can be unlocked quickly.

I am in a good position at Race to Dubai. As in my game, I try to progress in the ranking and why not aim for a top ten or better.

It's a very important end of season coming, and I hope it will be fine for me.

It is always very special to play at home in front of the French public. It's interesting to learn how to deal with this kind of pressure. We're going to be playing on an incredible course and I'm just going to try to have fun. "

Victor Perez

“As a Frenchman, it's important to be here and to play in front of your audience. We are several French people in a good dynamic to hope for victory. My last title only going back a few weeks, the attention is a bit on me. I hope to ensure in front of the French public and have a good week, I'll try to make the most of it. Rather than adding pressure to myself, I prefer to take advantage of playing in front of an audience that will support me. "

Romain Langasque

“It's always important to play in front of your audience. I know the course by heart and I place it among the best in the world. My first participation was delicate, but I'm better prepared for this year and I can't wait to share these moments with my family and friends.

It will be a real test with the weather. The 18th hole is particularly complicated with the bunker on the right and the water on the left. The second shot is stressful since we have a lot of water in the field of vision. It's one of the best hole finishes on the circuit and I hope to tackle it on Sunday with all my chances. "
